Comment:
M33 is a spiral galaxy approximately 3 million light years from Earth and 50,000 light years in diameter and viewed in the constellation Triangulum.  It is referred to as the Triangulum galaxy or as the Pinwheel galaxy.  It is the third largest galaxy in the local group of galaxies that include Andromeda, the Milky Way and M33.
