Two Panasonic 45-200mm f/4-5.6 Lenses Tested

Two Panasonic 45-200mm f/4-5.6 lenses were tested with Imatest Master for MTF50 performance. Both lenses were purchased new. The first copy (serial number XTOJBOO4912) was purchased new in January, 2011 from B&H Photo and has been used lightly. It has been stored indoors in a camera bag prior to testing. It was tested when first received and was found to have low MTF performance. The second copy (serial number XT2EE002409) was purchased new from Amazon.com in August, 2012 and tested upon receipt. Test results from the second copy are compared in the review with those from the Olympus 75mm f/1.8 lens.
