P9112308_Pan2400_DxO Barringer Meteor Crater near Winslow AZ. An iron-nickel meteorite estimated to be about 150 feet across struck this location about 50,000 years ago to create this large impact crater within sandstone and limestone now measuring 700 feet deep and 4,000 feet diameter.
